Bill's River Blog September 7, 2009
But slowly as time fleets and waters run as do the fish and it is time. The fishing has been awesome (as always.) It's unbelievable to see this fishery day in and day out be so consistent. Yes, some days are better than others, but even the bad days are pretty good. The water flows are at ideal levels pushing around 250 out of 1st, 100 out of 2nd, 496 out of Francis and 2000 over at the Andro. Life is grand. We've had cool evening temps which have drop all the temps especially in the ponds. We've had good hatches of caddis and stones on the trophy and flying ants on the Connecticut floats as well as the elusive wooley bugger hatch on the Andro. This being the holiday weekend and all the area has certainly seen a fair amount of anglers. Although we we're out this morning and did not see many people at all. We fished our favorite spots and caught OODLES of fish. Well folks the season is growing short, there is no better time than the present. Give us a call. PEACE Tight Lines, BILL >~::;}'>
