Howdy, Howdy, and good evening one and all. I hope this message finds you all true and well. The night is as black as the river in depth, dark , deep and cool to know not what has fourth in store for us. The unknown of and Yes, as well as maybe. So, there is or you don't. A line that is not wet will not catch fish.

   To get to the nitty gritty. It's fishing!!!!  Yeah the salmon have been moving in. This past week we've had all sorts of weather. Nice and very much on the other end of the spectrum. But mother nature plays by her own rules. We've got all kinds of craziness going on. The lakes are as full as I think I've ever seen them. They have flows running from pretty high to pretty low and water temps are darn perfect right know. Depends where you go 46-48, or down to 42. The fishing has certainly gotten better. We've been guiding this past week and consistently the catch ratio has climbed daily.

   We've had some rain today and decent temps, I suspect this should be a great weekend for fishing. This Saturday is the fourth Saturday in April and the trout ponds will be open. There has been several sightings of the stocking truck and we'll be in full swing right away. It's nice right now, we have several options and it's still early. We've even been out doing some pickerel fishing with streamers on the reservoir. That's just a fun alternative to trout fishing.

   These months are booking up fast and we're looking forward to another great season. We hope to see you on the water.
