What's the BLOG???? Huummm? Huh? Yeah, I don't know? My mind is like mush trying to remember last week, I can't even remember yesterday...

   Well things up here in the North Country have changed a little bit in the past week and all. The weather has gotten chilly and definitely feels like fall and in all reality it's not to far off. Although the calender says August and the kids are going back to school that certainly doesn't mean our season is over. No, No , No, we still have over a month and a half left and some of the best fishing of the season is yet to come.

   We have had some rain recently and they've been releasing more water out of the dams, all good things with the drop in daytime temps it's been awesome. The fish are feeding and some of the Salmon are moving back in from the lake. We've had some great days as of late with all kinds of fishing, from Bass and Pike to Trout and Salmon. Although I haven't hit a really good evening hatch lately the fish have been rewarding by feeding well mid day We still have Caddis and Mayflies and Stones, and some micro stuff that i can't see.

   Lots of fun going on up here and the crowds haven't been to bad, I'm looking forward to another great week and doing some great fall fishing. So folks, once you send the kids back, you all should think about coming up here and enjoying the nice fall weather. We'd love to see you up here. And we'll keep a fly tied on for you all.
