Well another week has ended and yet you wonder, ponder if you will, where has it gone????? I can't believe it myself, I look at my schedule and realize there isn't that many days left. I believe our real summer is over and we've even had some days that have that slight nip of fall.

   The weather has continued to bewilder myself. We've had some real rain last week and finally got some water back in the system and promptly they shut the dams down. I doesn't make any sense to me, finally the tributaries are flowing again and the rivers would have been at somewhat normal flows, but without the dams pushing water it's as low as it has been all season.

   The silver lining to this all is that the fish are certainly accessible, and now with Murphy dam at 150 c.f.s it is very wadable below the dam and down through. We've had some great days still an ample amount of fish around and the crowds not to bad. The fish seem to be seeing a little more pressure especially with the low water but being persistent will pay off.

   We've been all over this past week from the classic drift to the small streams and even over on the reservoir for Bass. We've had a great time and with the nights getting colder things are looking like they may have potential. But like always we'll have to see..... There are so many variables and its always an adventure. One day is of the next and no two are the same, that's what keeps us coming back.
