Good afternoon folks, It's wonderful to hear that so many of you check into the Lopstick Website. I want to thank you all for all of your support and good times. Also you give fodder for my Blogs. "It takes a lot of different people to make up a world." We'll folks lets get to gettin on, the big news of the week, what's the fishing like???? We'll we've had many different reports some fair some not favorable. The water flows have not changed much in the past month or so. So the fish are getting a little more weary and not so many new fish coming up from the lake. All this is true....But with that said, I been guiding every day and the catching has been fantastic. The floats have been great although the weather has obviously been hot and humid, with fairly predictable evening hatches, life's been grand. The trophy stretch has had good caddis activity with nightly fun with B.W.O.'s the stoneflies are just coming around.

Yesterday I guided 4 gentlemen, not always the ideal situation for a Saturday. But they were repeat guests and understood the deal. After a great day, (mainly staying of the more popular stretches of the trophy stretch) the 4 guys roughly guess-timated combined total 100 fish, Landed!!!! Maybe?? it wasn't high, but honestly I can say 73..... And for the majority of the day we did not see another angler.

Hopefully our temps will get back into the norm, we've had only spotty showers as of late. But we've got no worries and plenty of open water.
