Good Evening everybody, Thank You for joining in for another saga of this is a guides life. A funny thing happened on the way to the river. Your never alone when you've got yourself, it's the best company.Guiding ain't always what it's cracked up to be. There's a lot of different variables that are completely out of our control. The weather, water flows and temps not to mention your matching Witt's with a creature that has a brain half the size of a pea. Maybe that's why there so hard to figure out some days, because they don't even know what there doing?  It's a theory, I'm sticking to it.

   None the less you have good days and some bad, I had a tough one a few days back. It seemed like not being in the right place at the right time, and playing the what if game. Hey, it happens to all of us. Even with some failed efforts we still did manage to catch some fish. And also have heard some favorable reports from other sectors.

   There are still some good fishing to be had around these parts. It may not be what you anticipated but you can still catch fish. There will be more stocking this week and the place will explode. The Floats have been very active for this early in the season, and they some excellent opportunities for several different styles of fishing. We've been fishing nymphs, streamers, and even some dry flies, (which were pretty good tonight.)

   I'm looking forward to another good week and looking forward to pounding the trophy stretch and maybe getting back to the reservoir soon. They are saying Wednesday the weather is going to change and it will become cooler and more seasonable. They brought the water flows up today so there won't be any shortage of cold water for quite a while now.
