Good evening as always, how is everyone tonight. Please forgive me if I wonder, the mind is a little foggy this night. The anglers life is one that makes me shake me head with a slight twisted grin. And say HUH. Well the fish are what the are and the will be, because thats what they do.

   This week was a busy one for us we had a lot going on, it's always exciting lots to do and different options everyday. You don't get bored.

   We've been all over the place, we've always caught fish everday. Sometimes we don't get as many as we like but it's been great. We've floated the Andro and Conn with  beautiful 18 1/2" brown caught on the Connecticut. There still has been some salmon being landed in the trophy stretch. Catherine landed her first salmon ever today, only after seeing a bear crossing the river just above where we were fishing. A few days back I had my best day of topwater fishing on the reservior I've seen yet. There aren't to many anglers that want to take a day off from trout to go get smallmouth, but the few that do really seem to enjoy it. It's also nice because the subtleties of trout fishing is right out the window.

   There have been many anglers around this holiday weekend and also many positive results have been reported. All seems to be going well and I will dare to say that we could use some rain.
