   which is Pittsburg spring salmon. It's been crazy!!!This past Wednesday it snowed about 4 inches the water temps were cold and the fishing was excellent. Today the temp was near 80, a little humid you can feel another weather change coming in. We fished this morning with moderate success in the 5 or 6 hours we were out we found more than an adequate amount of fish and even caught a few fishing dries. CRAZY, unheard of for this time of the year.

There has been an ample amount of stocking in these past weeks. There has been positive reports coming back from the ponds and some lakes. Everything this year especially right now seems to be going really fast. It's becoming more and more exciting every day. You just don't know what's going to happen, you never know we could be running drift trips next week????

Some people may get frustrated, bewildered, but I find it fascinating. Every year is different and it doesn't matter what the calender says mother nature will do what she darn well pleases. And were just along for the ride. This week they are calling for slightly more seasonable temps and even some rain and after the past few days I think this would be a refreshing change. I say this as I bite my lip, because I know that we could easily be in for rain every day and be praying for the the rivers to clear and come back down. But we won't got there yet.

   So in a nutshell the fishing still good with great potential of the unknown, and we just keep having positive thoughts.
