Crazy from the heat??? Yeah, you think so??? It has certainly been a hot one and oddly enough it has somewhat effected the fishing. It's an odd phenomenon where sometimes on the hot days and the prevailing winds will push warm surface water in the river system and cause's morning water temps to rise but just as quickly they will drop. With that it has for myself been some of the better dry fly fishing of the season. Caddis, stoneflies, midges, bwo's and flying black ants, that not a bad selection and some cahills also. What more could a trout fisherman ask for. We've been right into it, spending time everywhere and working hard but with that favorable results and found a few fish real nice fish at that. A beautiful brown was the top of the week for me.
