Scott's Bog Fly fishing only and 100 acres in size, this remote pond in the heart of the 'Natural Area' is a beautiful place indeed! Brook trout inhabit these waters but the area is teeming with wildlife. Worth a trip even if you do not fish. Fishing Season: 4th Saturday in April to October 15th Directions from Lopstick; Take US Route 3 north to East Inlet Rd, a right hand turn off Rte 3 approximately 10 miles north. Just after the bridge at the T in the road, bear left. Continue on this good gravel road. At the fork in the road, bear left onto the smaller road. Go 1/4 mile and take a left, then take a right just after you go over the brook. This will bring you to the unimproved boat launch by the small dam on Scott's Bog. |
