Always great! Cabins are so clean! Great touches in the decor at Hillside Cabin. It is very comfortable and home like. The view from the cabin is also gorgeous.
My husband wanted to icefish at the North Country, and after doing some research, he made reservation at Lopstick. We stayed at the Hillside cabin which he chose because it is somewhat isolated, there is only one other cabin next to it. And it had a nice view. It is two bedroom cabin. The queen bed is very comfortable, I passed out on it with my son, and my husband had to drag me out. The other room has three single bed. Two of them just has mattress, and the other one with box spring and mattress. The one with the box spring was much more comfortable, just like the queen bed. (I didn’t expect such comfy bed at a ‘cabin’). The kitchen is very well equipped. Had everything we needed (well except for paper towel). The view was incredible, with snow-topped trees, and the lake view. The internet at the area was kind of on-and-off, which we were aware of prior to getting there. It is a comfortable, perfectly decorated with cute ‘cabiney’ stuff. Flat screen TV with cable and cute little gas fire place. We also asked them if we could check out later, and they were nice enough to accommodate that. One thing is that the road to the cabin was bit slippery with the snow, even with our 4wheel drive truck, but the road was cleaned soon after. Will definitely return back.
