Big Brook Bog

At 37 acres, Big Brook Bog is a fly fishing only pond in northern New Hampshire. Home to brook trout and loons, this northern trout pond is a short distance off Rte 3. This is a beautiful area and abundant with wildlife. Moose, deer, bear, woodcock and grouse frequent this area. It’s also a nice spot for a picnic! We keep a row boat on Big Brook Bog.

Fishing Season

4th Saturday in April to October 15th
Brook Trout ~ 5 fish or 5 lbs whichever is reached first. Fly Fishing Only

Directions from Lopstick

Take US Route 3 north to Big Brook Bog Road. Big Brook Bog Rd is the second logging road on the left in the Headwaters tract. Follow gravel road and take the second right to access the pond.
