Canary in the coal mine

Yes, we got um! Good ones and bad. Most people hate them and after the past few days it has been a real struggle to stay focused at the task at hand. I’m talking about those pesky black flies as annoying as they are, they are synonymous with good trout fishing fortunately and unfortunately they both thrive in the same environment. But with the recent purchase of a Buff and some bug dope from the shop and the games on…

With the dampness of the the past few weeks and the warmth of the recent beautiful days, the bugs have gone crazy. It’s real easy, pick an area of water and there will be some decent dry fly fishing at some point during the day. We’ve got it all, Caddis, Hendricksons, B.W.O.’s, even some Cahills and some Drakes and Dragonflies. And of course we certainly can’t forget the ever present Hornberg hatch in yellow and olive. Where having lots of fun, and fishing lots of different waters to keep things busy and exciting.

Looking forward to seeing you all.   PEACE     BILL  >~;””}’>
